Author Kathy Hunt to present cooking demo and discussion May 17
The Lewes Public Library’s Cooks & Books program will welcome author Kathy Hunt for an online cooking demonstration and conversation about her new book “Luscious, Tender, Juicy: Recipes for Perfect Texture in Dinners, Desserts, and More” at 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 17. The event is co-sponsored by Edible Delmarva and Browseabout Books.
Hunt’s new book features a compilation of cooking methods for mastering perfect, satisfying texture each and every time. From stir-frying noodles and sautéing fish to grilling delicate vegetables and roasting hearty meats, readers will develop appreciation for the skills needed to craft exquisite mouthfeel, an often overlooked facet of cooking. Written for novice and accomplished cooks alike, “Luscious, Tender, Juicy” offers recipes for global appetizers, mains, sides, desserts and sweet baked goods, with keen focus on how to make the food most flavorful.
