Author Susannah Marren online discussion set Sept. 16

Browseabout Books and the Lewes Public Library will host a live virtual author event for Susannah Marren, author of "A Palm Beach Scandal," at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16, via Zoom.

“A Palm Beach Scandal" is set in stylish and alluring Palm Beach, as was her previous book, “A Palm Beach Wife.”

In the new book, readers follow sisters Elodie and Aubrey, who are the envy of their community. While fiercely loyal to each other, the sisters could not be more different. When Elodie gets the crushing news that she cannot have more children, she turns to her free-spirited sister Aubrey for help. Aubrey must decide between the life she has wanted for herself, and making a selfless sacrifice for her sister. When a hidden secret is unearthed, it rocks the very foundation of the Cutler family. In a community surrounded by all that is artificial, these sisters discover what is really important.
