Tickets are on sale until Sunday, Nov. 7, for the first virtual Autumn at the Beach Kitchen Tour, offering visits to 12 of coastal Delaware’s most innovative, elegant homes and kitchens.
The multi-episode tour video runs about an hour and will be available for viewing until Nov. 7 beginning Sunday, Oct. 10. It can be viewed as a whole or in episodes. Each home is featured in a five-minute segment.
Proceeds from the tour help support the nonprofit Village Volunteers in its efforts to help seniors live independently by assisting them with transportation needs, household tasks, and other services. In particular, proceeds help Village Volunteers offer reduced-fee memberships.
Tickets can be purchased for $25 on the Village Volunteers website, villagevolunteer.org. Tickets entitle viewers to full access for a month, and are available in advance and throughout the one-month run.
The tour is a virtual video tour of 12 distinctive and diverse Lewes- and Rehoboth-area kitchens and homes. Stops include the Bayview Retreat, the Old Schoolhouse, the House with Three Lives, the English Cottage, a 1935 Classic recently filmed for HGTV, the Schell Brothers’ private homes and several others.
