B.D. Abel firm relocates and changes name to Pennoni Associates

B.D. Abel, a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering firm acquired by Pennoni Associates in January 2014, has relocated to Pennoni Associates’ office and will now be referred to by the parent company’s name. Pennoni Associates is an award-winning engineering, science, and planning consulting firm with 25 offices throughout the eastern U.S.

MEP services in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia for Pennoni Associates will be headed by Associate Vice President Robert Hayden, PE. “With this transition, we will be able to better serve our clients by continuing to offer quality MEP services, but with a larger system of support,” said Hayden, who has more than 35 years of experience with HVAC and hydronic system design. “Additionally, we can now offer a wider range of engineering services.”

Pennoni Associates also offers civil, structural, geotechnical, and transportation services as well as survey, environmental services, construction review and materials testing, water resources and wastewater services, and energy-related services.
