Bethany Beach Bunny headed to Easter Egg Extravaganza

April 14, 2022

The public is invited to enjoy a free Easter Egg Extravaganza from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 16, at the Inland Bays Garden Center, 38320 Muddy Neck Road, Frankford.

Attendees can bring an Easter basket to hunt for eggs, have a photo taken with the Bethany Beach Bunny, try their skill at bunny games, create Easter crafts or do the bunny hop around the garden center. If all that activity leads to hunger, Selbyville’s Synergy Café will be on hand to offer delicious samples from its menu.

There will be a special Pop Up Painting activity with artist John Donato to raise money for the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays and add to the garden center’s mural. Visitors can donate any amount to grab a paint brush to add flowers, trees, bees, butterflies, horseshoe crabs, seagulls, turtles, dolphins and osprey bigger than life and full of bright colors. Proceeds benefit the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays’ education and restoration programs and activities.
