Beyond the Garden: Going Greener virtual author event set Feb. 17

The Delaware Center for Horticulture will host Beyond the Garden: Going Greener in 2021, a rousing and informative program from 7 to 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17. Presenter Ashlee Piper is the author of the critically acclaimed, best-selling sustainability handbook,  “Give a Sh*t: Do Good. Live Better. Save the Planet.”

Climate  change is a defining issue of the time, and many supposed solutions can seem as convoluted and complicated as the causes. Piper will demystify certain causes of climate change and show simple solutions anyone can employ to create more sustainable and genuinely impactful habits. This talk is for anyone who feels like climate change is just too big for them to make a dent. It will leave attendees reinvigorated with the latest science (made easily digestible), action items, and a reconnection to their power in effecting positive collective change.
