Black Lives Matter inspires Heidi Lowe jewelry design

All proceeds to benefit Bryan Stevenson’s Equal Justice Initiative
June 23, 2020

The Heidi Lowe Gallery team stands with the Black Lives Matter revolution.

“Black lives not only matter but inspire beauty, wisdom and creation,” said Lowe. Even considering herself an ally, Lowe said she has found her eyes opened over the past several weeks.

“The conversations, education, and experiences I have been a part of have left me speechless, angry, joyful and hopeful. In response to this moment, I have created another Jewelry for a Cause pendant which is in the making. This piece speaks to the importance of listening and then speaking out,” said Lowe.

Her pendant design features the word “Listen” over a mouth with closed lips. Inscribed on the back of the pendant are the words “and then speak out.” The silver necklace is available for $140. By request, the necklace can be made in 14 kt. gold.

A full 100 percent of the profits will go to Bryan Stevenson's Equal Justice Initiative. A native Delawarean, Stevenson is a widely acclaimed public interest lawyer who has dedicated his career to helping the poor, the incarcerated and the condemned.

Stevenson’s book “Just Mercy” and the recent movie of the same name tell a true story about the Equal Justice Initiative, the people it represents, and the importance of confronting injustice. For more information, go to www.eji.org/bryan-stevenson.
