Bob Zando Blayney joins Anthony Patrick Real Estate

September 11, 2016

Bob Zando Blayney has recently joined Anthony Patrick Real Estate. With over 20 years experience as a Realtor in Delaware, active in residential sales, Blayney was looking for a brokerage strong in target marketing in the metropolitan areas of Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New Jersey and Baltimore.

Prior to joining APRE, Blayney specialized in residential marketing studies for Westinghouse, Boise Cascade and the World Bank while living in Washington, D.C. He was also an active partner in the successful Washington, D.C redevelopment firm Blayney, Bowers & Thomas. Blayney and his wife Libby Zando moved from Washington, D.C. to Lewes in 1978, and then to Milton in 1988.

In 2000 the couple, along with partners Barbara Barski and Milton Carrow, developed a riverfront neighborhood in Milton. They set aside seven acres of wetlands and woods, named Preserve on the Broadkill. The new community created one of the finest neighborhoods in Milton, just a short walk from Milton's Historic District, parks, fishing ramps, boat slips, library, theatre and shops. The community has attracted new residents from a number of metropolitan areas.

Blayney served two terms on the Milton Town Council, has been a member of the Milton Economic Development Committee for 10 years, and was a founding board member of the Milton (nonprofit) Theatre.
