Bruce Douglas Nygard, owned appliance business
Bruce Douglas Nygard of Dover, the longtime owner of DEL-MAR APPLIANCE, lost his battle with cancer Friday, June 8, 2018, surrounded by family.
Bruce is survived by his mother, JoAnn Nygard Mandarano; wife Elizabeth; children Eric Nygard, Laura (Casey) Lewis, and Douglas Nygard; grandchildren Owen Lewis and Cali Lewis; brother Joseph (Liz) Nygard; nieces Marisa Nygard, Sienna Nygard and Geneva Nygard; and his faithful companions Marley and Rambo.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 16, at 4 p.m., at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover, where relatives and friends may visit beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will be private.
Contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101. Arrangements are being handled by the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium of Lewes.
