Cape Business Network donates to Shepherd’s Office

July 15, 2021

Cape Business Network members presented a check, food and supplies July 7 to Jim Martin, director of the Shepherd’s Office in Georgetown.

In conjunction with community volunteers, Shepherd’s Office helps those who are homeless and hungry by offering food, water and clothing, no questions asked. In addition to serving more than 100 meals each day, Shepherd’s Office solves more complicated problems like providing housing and transportation, responding to medical emergencies and utility shut-offs, and providing emergency motel stays and case management assistance.

Shepherd’s Office provides free lunches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mondays and Thursdays, and free dinners from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

To learn more about how to volunteer, donate or support Shepherd’s Office, contact Jim Martin at 302-858-8556.
