Cape celebrates prom in Rehoboth

Boardwalk Empire delights students
May 17, 2024

Cape Henlopen High School celebrated the junior-senior prom May 11 at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, where the theme Boardwalk Empire brought food, fun and games along with the elegance of Cape students.

DJ Karleena kept the dance floor hopping as she played many different styles of high-energy music. Styled Events planned decorations that perfectly matched the vibe of the theme. Boardwalk-style games such as pony racing, ring toss and bean bag throw entertained the students and gave them tickets to be used for the prize raffle, including an e-bike and Playstation 5.

Performers from Starfire Entertainment captivated students as they waited in line to check in and later performed several LED light shows and juggling near the stage beside DJ Karleena.

Co-advisors Greg Berman and Emily Walls worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this year’s prom.
