A group of Cape Henlopen High School varsity fall cheerleaders were honored to cheer at the 2022 New Year’s Day Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla. The team performed with more than 500 cheerleaders and mascots from around the country, in front of over 50,000 fans during the pregame show. Representatives from the cheer teams who attended were invited to perform after receiving Top Team and All-American status from the Universal Cheerleaders Association and National Cheerleaders Association.
