Cape district recognizes school board members for dedication
With January observed as School Board Appreciation Month, the Cape Henlopen School District team recognizes its board of education members for their dedication, leadership and commitment to serving students, staff and the entire Cape community.
Board members play a critical role in shaping the vision and direction of the district. Through policy development, fiscal oversight and long-term planning, they help ensure that every decision supports student success and reflects community values.
“Serving on a board of education is a meaningful commitment that reflects a true passion for our schools and students,” said Dr. Jenny Nauman, Cape Henlopen School District superintendent. “Their leadership helps move our district forward in a positive way, and we are thankful for their steadfast commitment to doing what is best for every student, in every classroom, every day.”
Dr. Alison Myers, board president, highlighted the shared commitment that guides the members’ work. “Our board members serve with a genuine passion for our students and a deep commitment to our community,” Myers said. “It is truly an honor to work alongside such dedicated colleagues who are focused on supporting student success and the continued strength of Cape Henlopen School District.”
Cape officials extend sincere appreciation to all board of education members for their time, service and continued leadership in support of the students, staff and families.
