Nicolette Natrin, a 2009 Cape High graduate, has been awarded the 2020 Nuherbs Chinese Medicine Scholarship.

After graduating in 2014 from Hunter College with a degree in English Language, Literature and Criticism, she became a doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine candidate at Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. Since 2018, Natrin has been her college’s student council president, volunteering over 300 hours in council work. While pursuing her doctorate, she works full time as a marketing content manager at Mortgage Capital Trading, a secondary market hedge advisory firm.
In 2022, she hopes to pursue her career specializing in acupuncture and all aspects and applications of Chinese medicine.
