Cape High JROTC program receives donation from local Elks

The Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 Veterans Committee recently presented a $1,000 check to the Cape Henlopen High School JROTC in support of its spring activities, including trips to Dover Air Force Base and Arlington Cemetery, an overnight on the USS New Jersey and many other activities. JROTC is a program to foster leadership, good citizenship and personal responsibility for future leaders, many of whom continue to grow in the their academic studies through technical or college admissions.
