“It was a little frustrating,” said Cape coach Mike Tkach. “As a team, we didn’t perform to the best of our abilities. Central is one of the top teams in the state, so you have to bring your A game. We didn’t hit the ball very well, we made some base-running mistakes and had a few errors. Now with that said, those are all things that can be corrected and worked on, which we will and we’ll bounce back. It starts next week against Saint Mark’s on Tuesday, which will also be our Morgan’s Message game.”
