Cape students Light Up the Night

More than 640 students enjoy the pulse-pounding sounds of DJ Wired Up.

Light Up the Night was the theme for the Cape High prom held at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center May 10. A total of 649 students enjoyed the junior-senior formal with dancing, food and fun throughout the evening. 

Gasps and wows filled the air as the students first walked across the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand for the promenade. Afterwards, they made their way to the convention center for some dancing to the pulse-pounding sounds of DJ Wired Up.

Class advisors in charge of the prom were John Sell and Carly Zych. The designer was Carly Miller and her team at Styled.

“Our prom night was nothing short of magical,” said Sell. “Every detail came together perfectly, creating memories that our Cape students will cherish forever.”

The 2025 Prom King and Queen were Trent Kauffman and Nae’Ira Dunning.
