Car show to benefit local travel ball team April 16

The Delaware Spartans 15U/16U Brittingham travel baseball team will host a car show fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 16, at Hudson Fields, 29763 Eagle Crest Road, Milton. Rain date is April 17.

The entry fee for participants is $15 per vehicle, and various types of entries are welcome, including classic and race cars, tractors, motorcycles, lifted trucks and more; for details go to delawarespartans.com/car-show. Car show admission is $5 for the general public; veterans with ID and children enter free.

Remember to bring cash for a 50/50 drawing. There will also be an Easter egg hunt for ages 10 and younger at 12 p.m., so come prepared with a bag to hold the little ones’ eggs!
