Carol Ann Moore, Sussex homemaker

 Carol Ann Moore, 79, of Georgetown passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at Harrison Senior Living in Georgetown.  She was born Aug. 13, 1941, in Georgetown to the late Charles H. and Mary Baker Bunting. 

Carol was a member of Carey’s United Methodist Church in Millsboro.  She enjoyed being a homemaker and collecting Jim Shore angels and Longaberger baskets. 

In addition to parents, she was preceded by three siblings, Donald Bunting, Clifford Bunting and Barbara Mitchell.

Carol is survived by her husband, Harry P. Moore; two children, Wayne Moore (Wendy) and Charlene Warrington (Steve); a sister, Thelma Brittingham; four grandchildren, Melanie McMahan, Brittany Breeding, Katie Skidmore and Kelsi Warrington; and five great-grandchildren, Brennan McMahan, Rilynn McMahan, M.J. Breeding, Drake Skidmore and Tucker Skidmore.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown Saturday, Dec. 26, at 1 p.m.  A time of visitation will begin at 11 a.m.  Interment will be private.  All in attendance must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing and gathering protocols.
