Chase Anderson Fehrenbach, one of a kind
Chase Anderson Fehrenbach left this world unexpectedly and too soon Monday, Aug. 1, 2022.
Chase was born July 24, 1984, to Dawn and Michael Fehrenbach. He was native to Lewes. After graduating from Cape Henlopen High School, Chase pursued some classes at Delaware College of Art and Design. Over the years Chase worked locally at Funland, Kmart, and was the real man around town the years he was running Superkind in Rehoboth Beach. In his early 20s, Chase was a contributor to his maternal family’s business, Anderson Carpet One, and most recently he took over a successful business curated by his father for 30 years, Fehrenbach’s Flooring Plus.
Still, if you knew Chase you knew his unparalleled passion and his heart were poured into his artwork. If Chase was creating a poster-sized drawing, he could tell you how many strokes of the pencil were used from start to finish. Chase loved mixed media and had the creative genius to endlessly repurpose things that he thrifted or came across in his daily pursuits. Chase loved to gift his unique art and loved to personalize his projects around someone special to him. He was thoughtful and generous in that way.
Chase was known for his distinctive jewelry, his eclectic hair and his charismatic charm. He was truly one of a kind. He didn’t need to fit in and didn’t seek approval. Chase connected with people easily and his impact on this world is far-reaching.
Chase loved to read; he soaked up books from various genres and had an extensive book collection. He had the opportunity to instruct GED classes and the success rate of his students was remarkable. Chase loved animals, especially black cats and pit bulls. He had the opportunity to become a certified dog trainer and enjoyed it very much. Chase was into archery and ax throwing and had an affinity for creating archaic weapons. Chase loved the vibe of Philadelphia and would visit there any chance he got. As of later, Chase felt freedom while riding his motorcycles and has always been about that skateboard life.
He leaves behind the light of his life, the little girl his sun, moon, and stars set on, Ruby Valentine Fehrenbach. His daughter has been his greatest blessing and he shouted his boundless love for her from the rooftops. His love and devotion to her will not end with his passing but will be kept alive by his family.
Chase is survived by his devoted mother, Dawn Anderson Fehrenbach; and his steadfast father, Michael Fehrenbach; his siblings, Justin Fehrenbach, Adrian Smith, Mackenzie Smith, Arin Martin and Kelly Fehrenbach. He was preceded in death by his brother Gavin Smith. He was a cool uncle to six nephews, Landyn, Kingston, Brixton, Wylder, Raleigh and River. He was blessed to have many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.
Chase always loved angels and now he gets to be one protecting and guiding all whom he loved.
