January 15, 2020

Christine Marie (Petracca) Emmons, 68, of Seaford passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa.  She was born Dec. 17, 1951, in Coral Gables, Fla., daughter of the late Louis and Loretta (Zepp) Petracca.

She was an accessories buyer for a department store chain, an executive at Marvella Pearls, a vice president of accessories at Liz Claiborne, and an advisor to a private designer/manufacturer of handbags.

As a longtime resident of Ocean, N.J., Chris loved the ocean and the bay where she would frequently walk, crab and collect seashells. She loved to travel to Europe, Italy in particular.

Chris had an infectious laugh and joie de vivre. She had an extraordinary love and loyalty to her husband Bob and the Petracca Family.  Family mattered most to her, and that is her legacy.

Chris is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert Emmons; her brothers: Richard (Linda), Dean (Kelly) and Joe (Debra); her sister, Kim (Nick); her nieces and nephews: Karley, Mitchell, Laura, Michael, Maddi, Lauren, Aleksander and Joe.
