Coastal Kiwanis Club continues service to community

In December, the Kiwanis Club of Coastal Delaware held a toy drive and collected hundreds of items for the Boys & Girls Club of Rehoboth Beach as well as other community organizations.
Kiwanis hosted a holiday party for the Boys & Girls Club, where youngsters were treated to pizza, cookies and treats, along with holiday gifts. The children all expressed gratitude, and their parents were overwhelmed with thankfulness. Program Director Avara Brown was thankful for the generosity of the group.
At its regular meeting, the club inducted Debbie Minifie and Richard Ambrose as new members. Nonperishable food items were collected for the Community Resource Center, and the club gave a $500 donation to the Children’s Beach House in Lewes.
