Community Bank Delaware donates to Overfalls Foundation

Community Bank Delaware recently presented a $2,500 donation to the Overfalls Foundation in support of the Lightship Overfalls and its collection of associated maritime artifacts.
Now situated at the edge of Lewes Canalfront Park, the Lightship Overfalls was the last lightship built for the U.S. In 1972, the Coast Guard donated the ship to the Lewes Historical Society to serve as a floating museum. With the lightship as its centerpiece, the Overfalls Foundation collects, preserves, honors and teaches the maritime history of Lewes, the Delaware Bay and the coastal region.
