Unitarian Universalists to hold online service Dec. 24

The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware will hold an online Christmas Eve service at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 24, on UUSD’s Facebook page. All are welcome to view this service. For more information, go to uussd.org.

Long Neck UMC to host Christmas Eve services

Long Neck United Methodist Church will celebrate the coming of Christ with two Christmas Eve services, at 6:30 and 11 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 24. Long Neck United Methodist Church is located at 32051 Long Neck Road, Millsboro.

UUSD to hold service of remembrance Dec. 27

The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware will hold an online service of remembrance at 10 a.m., Dec. 27. Attendees will take time to celebrate the lives of people who affected them directly or indirectly and who died this past year. Their lives will be remembered through words, images and music. Rehoboth Beach student earns honor roll at University of Mississippi

Delaney Elizabeth Zolper of Rehoboth Beach was named to the University of Mississippi's Chancellor's Honor Roll. The honor roll is reserved for students who earn a grade point average of 3.75-4.00 during the fall semester.

Lewes student named to McPherson honor roll

As a McPherson College student earning a grade point average of 3.25 to 3.54, Kyle Lux of Lewes was named to the school’s honor roll.

Food drive at Brandywine Living

Brandywine Living at Seaside Pointe is collecting food items for the Harry K Foundation, which works to defeat childhood hunger and food insecurity throughout Delaware. Donations needed include easy-open soups, shelf-stable milk, small cereal boxes, fruit cups, cracker packs, fruit snacks and granola bars. Items may be dropped off in the vestibule. Brandywine Living at Seaside Pointe is at 36101 Seaside Blvd., Rehoboth Beach.
