Community golf cart parade celebrates the season

The Woodfield Preserve community near Milton held its second annual golf cart parade Dec. 14.

The parade timing was coordinated to match up with the Milton Fire Department Santa Run. As Santa’s truck pulled into the community, the decorated golf carts – which included multiple creative designs, another Santa on a scooter, and even one resident who decorated their lawn mower – lined up behind the fire engine for a complete drive-through of the neighborhood.

Despite the bitter cold, many residents lined the streets to cheer everyone on, demonstrating wonderful community spirit. After the Milton Fire Department and Santa departed for their next stop, Woodfield Preserve residents gathered in the clubhouse for cookies and hot chocolate.

It was a successful community event and a great way to celebrate the holidays together.
