Community Resource Center welcomes author Paul Mast

April 14, 2015

The Rev. Paul Mast was the guest speaker April 2 at the Community Resource Center in Rehoboth Beach. Mast is author of the book “Street Sabbatical,” which tells the tale of his six-month journey exploring the lives and stories of the homeless population in eight cities including Wilmington.

After a diagnosis of early-stage memory loss, Mast set out to change his normal routine and seek ways to slow progression of his condition. He then encountered a homeless Iraqi war veteran at a Washington, D.C. train station who would be the first of many to accept him and take his guidance and counseling.

Mast continues to be the voice of homelessness and is happy to share his experiences.
