Coronavirus virtual town hall set for June 6

The Wilmington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. will host a coronavirus virtual town hall at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 6.

The panel will feature experts discussing health and safety, and the implications of COVID-19 on hospitals, caregivers and essential workers in Delaware. Also featured will be a brief update on the prison population and judiciary changes.

Experts include Dr. David A. Tam, Beebe Healthcare president and CEO; Awele Madula, MD, Delaware Department of Correction medical director; Penny Short, Nanticoke Memorial Hospital president and CEO; Claire DeMatteis, Delaware Department of Correction commissioner; Dr. Janice E. Nevin, Christiana Care president and CEO; Dr. Jay S. Greenspan, Delaware Valley operations CEO, Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children; Vince Kane, Wilmington VA Medical Center director; and Terry M. Murphy, Bayhealth Medical Center Inc. president and CEO.
