Crooked Hammock gets into the holiday spirit

Crooked Hammock Brewery is getting into the holiday spirit. The restaurant on Kings Highway, Lewes, hosted The Let It Snow Family Fest on Dec. 12, complete with a gingerbread house contest and visits with Santa. Crooked Hammock will cover its popular backyard in artificial snow during the holiday on the hour from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday through Saturday, Jan. 2.

The backyard will host a Winter Warmer bacchanal from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18. Local breweries Tall Tales, Revelation and Big Oyster will have winter beers available along with heaping plates of holiday food and festive music.

Crooked Hammock’s New Year’s Eve party starts at 8 p.m., Dec. 31, and will feature an open bar, buffet, music and a keg drop at midnight. To purchase tickets or get more information, go to crookedhammockbrewery.com.
