Daniel William Messick, lifelong poultry grower
Daniel William Messick (Danny), 66, of Bridgeville passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020. Mr. Messick was born Feb. 17, 1954, to Ivory Seymour and William Messick. Daniel was raised in Federalsburg, Md.
He was a lifelong poultry grower and farmer.
Danny is survived by his daughter Britni Messick Townley; mother Ivory Seymour; sisters Bonnie and Angela Walker and Debbie White; his brother David Messick; grandchildren, Jordan, Kylee, Lizzie, Hailey, Alyssa and Megan; and several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Mr. Messick was preceded in death by his father William Messick; second mother Sally Messick; and a very special sister-in-law Lynn Messick.
Danny will always be remembered for his gentle demeanor, kindness and generosity, as well as the love he had for his family, antiques, nature and animals.
