Delaware Diabetes Coalition virtual expo to open Nov. 12

November 9, 2020

The Delaware Diabetes Coalition will host its Annual Diabetes Wellness Expo online with virtual education sessions set for 10 a.m., 12 p.m, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Thursdays, Nov. 12 and 19. These sessions are free for the public to watch live and/or recorded on their own time.

The expo brings together healthcare providers, businesses, diabetes-related organizations, and others to promote diabetes self-management and healthier lifestyles for people with diabetes. Presented by health leaders in the community, these virtual education sessions will help attendees learn to better manage their diabetes.

Sessions will include the importance of eye screenings, taking charge of advance directives, the role of diabetes alert dogs, and dining with diabetes, plus a few more.

All sessions will be live on Zoom; attendees must preregister for the sessions they wish to watch live or to receive the recording.
