Delaware Hospice announces new hires

Delaware Hospice recently announce the addition of the following individuals to its staff:

Naomi Bentz, RN, of Hartly as a registered nurse. Bentz holds an associate degree from Delaware Technical Community College. She has experience working on the IMC/ PCU floors of a hospital.

Ly. Butcher, LMSC, of Lewes as a social worker. Butcher earned a master of social work degree from the University of Texas, Arlington. Butcher has multiple years of experience in direct practice social work at the advanced level in areas including counseling, client education and crisis intervention.

Diana Chavis, CNA, of Camden, as a certified nursing assistant. Chavis received her degree from Polytech Adult Education. She has experience as a caregiver trained in home peritoneal dialysis and is certified in healthcare provider CPR and phlebotomy.

Mindy Eskridge, RN, of Georgetown, as a registered nurse. Eskridge was awarded degrees in AAS nursing, BA behavioral science, and AAS human services from Delaware Technical Community College and Wilmington University.

Dr. Jo Ann Fields, MD, of Dover as an associate medical director. Through her experiences with internal medicine and being a primary care physician for 19 years in Kent County as well as a former member of the Ethics Committee at Bayhealth-Kent Hospital, her expertise is invaluable. Fields holds degrees from the Medical University of South Caroline, Charleston and North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Salem-Winston. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and Medical Society of Delaware.

Megan Green, RN, of Wilmington as an admission nurse. Green holds an associate degree from Delaware Technical Community College. She has experience working on the trauma floor at Christiana Hospital.

Ashley Nicole Jarman, of Milford, as a certified nursing assistant. Jarman received her degree from Delaware Technical Community College. Prior to coming to Delaware Hospice, Jarman worked for Kent General Hospital on 1A Med-Surg.

Brittany Keesler, of Wilmington, as a receptionist. Keesler received her communications degree from Wilmington University.

Joan Kinsey, MSM, CRNP, of Lewes as a nurse practitioner. Kinsey holds a master's in management degree from Lesley College. For the past 10 years, Kinsey has been an oncology nurse practitioner.

Karen Kohlhaus, RN, of Henderson, Md., as a registered nurse. Kohlhaus holds an associate degree from Chesapeake College with certifications in licensed practical nurse as well as master barber.

Amanda Lilly, RN, of Wilmington as a registered nurse. Lilly received an associate degree from Delaware Technical Community College. She has experience in acute care at Christiana Hospital.

Kevin Mabrey, RN, BSN, of Magnolia as an admissions nurse. Mabrey earned his bachelor of science in nursing degree from Wilmington University, Delaware. He holds a certificate in Basic Life Support and has experience in mental health and psychiatric disorder nursing as well as geriatric nursing.

Karen Mika, MSN, RN, CMSRN, of Milford as a registered nurse. Mika received her master of science in nursing from Wesley College, Delaware. She holds a certificate in medical surgical RN and has worked for Milford Memorial Hospital.

Nancy Ngaruiya RN, BSN, BC, PCCN, of Dover as a registered nurse. Ngaruiya received her cum laude honors in her bachelor of science in nursing degree from Felician College. For the last 12 years, Ngaruiya has had managerial, instructional, and clinical experience in a variety of fields including Medical-Surgical Nursing, Progressive Care Nursing Adult and Trauma Nursing.

Alexis O. Paul, RN, of Middletown as a statewide registered nurse. Paul holds a bachelor of science nursing degree from Sojourner Douglass College.

Deborah Reynolds, RN, of Harrington, as a registered nurse. Smith was awarded an associate degree in nursing from Delaware Technical Community College. Since her certification, Smith has been a licensed practical nurse for over 12 years with strong patient and family interaction skills.

Nakeia Yvonne White, CNA, of Dover, as a certified nurse assistant. White received her degree from Delaware Technical Community College.

Christina Wright, RN, of Dagsboro, as a registered nurse. Wright was awarded an associate degree from Wallace Community College.
