Delaware SAR Caesar Rodney Chapter awards scholarship to Cape grad
The Caesar Rodney Chapter of the Delaware Sons of the American Revolution recently awarded its annual scholarship to Carly Favoroso.
From among many high school senior applicants in Sussex and Kent counties, Favoroso was selected for the $1,000 award due to her outstanding student volunteer service in school and the community, and for the difference she makes by inspiring others to follow her example.
A Cape Henlopen High School graduate, Favoroso will be attending East Carolina University to pursue a bachelor of fine arts degree in acting with a double minor in dance and public relations.
The Sons of the American Revolution members honor their Revolutionary War patriot ancestors by promoting patriotism, serving their communities, and educating and inspiring future generations about the founding principles of this country.
