for Delaware Tech classes
Delaware Technical & Community College, Owens Campus recently announced the availability of online registration for the courses offered by its Division of Corporate and Community Programs.
This new service, which has been in the planning and implementation stages for more than a year, allows students and customers to visit the college website at dtcc.edu/owens/ccp to see the division’s complete course catalog and then register online with a credit card; the service is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Courses available for online registration include many of the campus’ offerings in personal enrichment, professional development, Adult Plus+, culture and travel, and environmental training.
Dr. Michael Owens, director of Corporate and Community Programs, said, “Having this service allows us to meet the demands of our clientele as it suits individual schedules. We realized that our traditional registration process often made it difficult for people to register for a course in a timely and efficient manner. Now our customers can view course descriptions online and register at their leisure in the comfort of their own home. The new process is simple to use; a course registration is processed quickly and efficiently, ensuring our customer’s space in the chosen class.”
Individuals who prefer to register through one of the traditional methods - in person, by fax or mail - can continue to do so. The campus has mailed out its spring and summer course offering books and customers are encouraged to take advantage of the new online registration service.
