Delaware Tech to host summer youth camps beginning June 8

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, these educational and interactive camps include science, math, history, computers, arts & crafts, games, fitness and nutrition in a theme-based, fun-filled atmosphere.

Each camp includes a field trip to enhance what has been learned in class. Children should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers each day and bring a bag lunch or purchase one in the dining hall.

In June the themes are Amazing Animals, June 8-12; Travel Around the World in a Week, June 15-19; and Spirit of America, June 22-26.

In July, choices include Dollars & Cents - Money Management can be So Much Fun, July 6-10; Go Green – Let’s Improve Our Environment, July 13-17; Art & Music Appreciation, July 20-24; and Favorite Sports, July 27-31.

August camps are The Amazing Human Body, Aug. 3-7; and Celebrating Holidays from Different Countries, Aug. 10-14.
