When my wife and I moved here 20 years ago, Kendale Road – named for our friends the Rev. Dale and her husband Ken who lived there – and Dairy Farm Road – named for the much-missed dairy herd that lived there – were sleepy two-lane country roads that ran into Beaver Dam Road, which was still another sleepy two-lane country road. Turning onto Beaver Dam Road from either of the other two was a fairly simple matter. That changed with the exponential growth in traffic volume on Beaver Dam Road. The three-way stops installed a while ago at Dairy Farm Road and last week at Kendale Road help to restore the quick and safe conditions we formerly enjoyed at those intersections. Thank you, DelDOT.
