Delmarva Christian hosts Funding the Future Banquet
Delmarva Christian School celebrated an evening of generosity and community during its annual Funding the Future Banquet held Oct. 3 at Crossroad Community Church.
Guests were welcomed with a night of worship and celebration, featuring a performance by Shine, Liberty University’s premier a cappella group. Together, attendees helped raise $90,000 to support Delmarva Christian.
"Time after time, God has used this banquet to meet the needs of our school in powerful ways," said Justin Savini, director of advancement. "It’s never lost on me how impactful it is when our community gathers to celebrate what God is doing in and through Delmarva Christian.”
For more than 20 years, this event has been a cornerstone of the school’s growth — fueling campus expansions, program enhancements and scholarship opportunities for students across Delmarva. This year’s banquet also celebrated the ongoing Stronger Together Capital Campaign, which seeks to expand facilities, strengthen academic and spiritual programs, and bring all district operations to one campus in Georgetown to provide even greater opportunities for students to grow in faith and excellence.
The mission of Delmarva Christian School is to proclaim the gospel by preparing students spiritually, academically and physically to know and do God’s will in their lives.
