Event offers vendors, live music, children’s activities

Shoppers and artists gathered by the bay May 11 for the annual Dewey Beach Arts & Fun Festival.
Sponsored by the Dewey Business Partnership, the event offered 50 vendors, live music and children’s activities in the Rusty Rudder parking lot.
The Dewey Business Partnership hosts the Egg Scoop, arts festival, Kids’ Running of the Bull and other family-friendly events. For more information, go to deweybusinesspartnership.com.

Melissa Riesco sells an assortment of Town of Dewey Beach merchandise, including 23 lifetime dog licenses, which pay for free dog bags located throughout town. The town goes through about 900 dog bags on a weekend with a dog event, Town Manager Bill Zolper said.
Megan Stine of The Moonlit Shell specializes in handmade jewelry crafted with seashells, pearls and shark teeth collected from the ocean.
