Dewey Dogs, Designers and Deals event takes over Baywalk

Dewey Business Partnership’s inaugural Dogs, Designers and Deals event took over the TJ Redefer Memorial Baywalk and Sunset Deck at Lighthouse Cove in Dewey Beach April 17.

Fashion-savvy shoppers had an array of upscale resale clothing,  jewelry, bags, shoes and accessories to purchase, and dogs enjoyed games on the bay beach, an ice cream sundae bar and treats, and a dog photo booth. Dog-related vendors and service providers were on hand with information and giveaways.

Attendees sampled food and drink specials, and relaxed to live music by Steve Bowers on Sunset Deck.

DBP’s next event, the Dewey Beach Arts and Fun Fest, will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 8, at Dagsworthy Avenue bayside, with more than 60 artist vendors, live music, food trucks, a student art gallery and more.
