Dewey Goes Pink raises $380,000 for breast cancer coalition
The Dewey Goes Pink 2025 race raised $380,276 for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
Hosted by The Starboard, the annual event unites runners, walkers, survivors, families and sponsors to raise funds for breast cancer education, outreach and survivorship programs throughout Delaware.
DBCC CEO Francesca Vogel said, “The energy was simply electric, and it filled me with a sense of great humanity to be among 5,400 people and their many beautiful shades of pink filling the streets of Dewey running, walking, honoring a loved one, celebrating life and standing together in solidarity to support The Starboard Foundation’s Dewey Goes Pink race. We’re immensely grateful to Steve ‘Monty’ Montgomery and Janine DiPaula Stevens at the Starboard Foundation for their fundraising partnership in helping to sustain and expand our vital resources and services statewide. A special thank you also goes out to everyone who came out to support in some way, from sponsors to race registrants and organized teams, and those who donated their time, services, and even their front yards on race day in Dewey.”
