Everlasting Hope Ministries holds Anti-Drug Rally

August 24, 2018

The Cape Region community was out in force for the Everlasting Hope Ministries 25th annual Community Anti-Drug Rally and March Aug. 18 in Georgetown. The Richard Allen School was the epicenter of the event, which is aimed at spreading the message to the community, especially youth, to say ‘’yes” to life and "no" to drugs. Participants carried signs and spread anti-drug messages through the streets of Georgetown, pausing at the Georgetown Apartments for a rally, then returning to the Richard Allen School where Fun Day activities were held and free lunch was provided.

“We can’t stand back and watch it going on. We have to move as a team. Even helping one person makes a difference, Every step we took today was for someone who was suffering with addiction,” the Rev. Tony Neal said.
