Experienced physical therapist joins Aging in Place Specialists

Aging in Place Specialists LLC announced that Dr. Yvonne Cipressi is the newest physical therapist to join their growing team.

Cipressi brings a wealth of knowledge from her years of experience working in the field of physical therapy and educating students of the industry. She has worked with individuals suffering from back pain, Parkinson’s Disease and more.

Owner Kathryn Cieniewicz is pleased to welcome Cipressi to her team of knowledgeable staff. She said, “The addition of Dr. Yvonne Cipressi will certainly benefit the individuals we serve on many levels. She is an educator; she is an experienced clinician, and a caring and compassionate individual who will help our patients reach their goals. Cipressi received her doctorate degree in physical therapy from Neumann University in 2011. She originally started practicing in her field in 1994 as a physical therapist assistant. Initially trained as an educator at East Stroudsburg University, she continued her career development at Harcum College instructing in physical therapy and allied health sciences. Passionate about teaching and helping people recover from injury, she expanded her competence by completing her master’s degree in health education at Arcadia University. Her experience working in nearly all rehab medicine clinical settings helps lead to positive outcomes with each patient’s goals.

Aging in Place Specialists outpatient physical therapy practice offers in-home, one-on-one care for those who wish to achieve optimal wellness and mobility. AIPS helps those age 18 and older but specializes in geriatric care. Its customized approach helps seniors to age in place or to remain at home in spite of age-related circumstances or medical conditions that often decrease mobility and independence.
