F. Nelsa Hosse, loved her family

F. Nelsa Hosse (née Davis) of Georgetown passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the age of 82. 

Nelsa was raised in Glen Burnie, Md., and moved to Georgetown in 1973, where she raised her six children and resided until her death. She loved her family, her flowers, and her animals, and will be missed by all. She was a longtime friend of Bill W. 

She was predeceased by her daughter, Patrice Hosse.

She is survived by Ernest H. Hosse III; children Colleen (John) Briggs, Andrew Hosse, Laura (Sean) King, Rosemary Hosse (Dan Stevens) and Joanna (Michael) Weaver; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her brother, Jacob Davis; and many loving family and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, at Short Funeral Services chapel, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after 12 p.m. Interment will be held at Union Cemetery, Georgetown immediately thereafter.
