The Firefly Music Festival was back at its home in The Woodlands in Dover for the weekend of Sept. 23, after being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and moved to early fall instead of its normal summer time frame this year.
This year, Firefly was headlined by Billie Eillish, The Killers, Tame Impala and Lizzo across four days, with additional acts including Phoebe Bridgers, Wiz Khalifa, Megan Thee Stallion and Machine Gun Kelly, among many others.
Ryan Mavity covers Milton and the court system. He is married to Rachel Swick Mavity and has two kids, Alex and Jane. Ryan started with the Cape Gazette all the way back in February 2007, previously covering the City of Rehoboth Beach. A native of Easton, Md. and graduate of Towson University, Ryan enjoys watching the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Capitals and Baltimore Orioles in his spare time.
