Police said the man had some scratches, but no one else was injured in the crash.
A Laurel man was cited with inattentive driving Oct. 23 after crashing into Besche Furniture on Route 9.
The crash happened about 12:30 p.m. when the Laurel man, 56, was driving his Ford F150 westbound on Lewes Georgetown Highway near Gravel Hill Road. The driver lost control and drove off the roadway, crashing into the front of Besche Furniture and the brick wall bordering the parking lot, police said.
The man was treated by emergency responders for minor scratches at the scene, police said, and cited for inattentive driving.
No other injuries were reported.
