The First Presbyterian Church of Milford will host a Pre-Ladybug Festival Concert from 2 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, in the church sanctuary at 101 S. Walnut St. The concert will include two acts, and admission is free.

The Second Winds Flute Trio will perform a variety of genres from classical to show tunes and more. Flutists Marcy Parykaza, Jody Stein and Dianne Deming are all second-career musicians who met while playing in the Rehoboth Concert Band. With other combined credits such as the Dover Symphony, the Delaware Winds, and Clear Space Productions, to name a few, these musicians have put their “second winds” to good use.

The Ocean Bay Chorus, a member of Sweet Adelines International, will take the stage from 2:30 to 3 p.m. The chorus includes church musician Ann Whitman and women of all ages singing four-part harmony in the barbershop style. The chorus has performed at a wide range of venues including community festivals and events, nursing homes, competitions, concerts that the group produces, and at Perdue Stadium, where the group sang the national anthem before a Shorebirds game.

A wheelchair-accessible entrance is available on the Pearl Street side of the church. Patrons are welcome to come and go as they wish, or stay to enjoy the entire concert. A tag sale will be conducted in the fellowship hall from 1 to 5 p.m. Browsing is encouraged. Light refreshments will be served following the concert in the fellowship hall.
