Five people were injured in a two-crash Nov. 25 on Route 1 near Milton.
The crash happened at 3:04 p.m. when a Honda Accord driven by a Viola man was heading eastbound on Union Street Extended and failed to remain stopped at the stop sign at Route 1, police said. The Honda entered the southbound lanes of Route 1 and was T-boned by a Volkswagen Tiguan driven by a Philadelphia man, 49, police said.
The driver of the Honda appeared to be uninjured at the time of the crash, police said, and the Volkswagen driver and four occupants were taken to the hospital for what appeared to be nonlife-threatening injuries.
The roadway was closed for about one hour, and the crash investigation is ongoing, police said.
