Fred Thomas educator wins Johnson Orthodontics teacher gift

Fred Thomas Middle School teacher Stacy Mancuso won $300 for National Teacher Appreciation Week. 

Jonathan Johnson and the team at Johnson Orthodontics ran a special contest during the month of May in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Week. Patients were asked to nominate their favorite teacher and explain why they deserved an A+. The randomly selected winner was Fred Thomas Middle School sixth-grade teacher Stacy Mancuso, who was nominated by her student Lincoln Fyock.

Mancuso received a $300 gift card for her classroom, and her lucky students celebrated her win with a pizza party, compliments of Johnson Orthodontics.

Showing appreciation for teachers and school staff has always been a priority for Johnson, the son of two elementary school teachers. He is committed to supporting local schools and wants to thank teachers for their dedication to the children in the community. He also appreciates how they routinely let him borrow their students for orthodontic appointments.
