New café focuses service on gelato, coffee, fresh juice and crepes

Fruittello, a dessert and drink shop, is now open on Rehoboth Avenue in downtown Rehoboth Beach.

Located in what used to be the Royal Market, between the Shirt Factory and the Back Porch Cafe, Fruittello has a menu that includes gelato, fresh fruit smoothies, bubble waffles, crepes, specialty coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

Murad Araoury, store manager, said Fruittello will be celebrating a grand opening Thursday, May 15. Currently, the hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., but they will expand to 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. during the summer, he said.
