Georgetown man sought in Lincoln assault

September 17, 2020

A Georgetown man is being sought after police say he pointed a gun at a victim near Lincoln Sept. 1, and then assaulted the person.

Quajer Washington, 29, argued with a 19-year-old victim while the two drove along Johnson Road, and the argument turned physical, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police.

Washington pointed a gun at the victim and then assaulted the victim, causing serious injury, Pepper said. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, she said.

Washington fled the scene, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Anyone with information on Washington’s whereabouts is asked to contact Troop 4 Detective A. Bluto at 302-752-3864, call 911 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, or go to www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com.
