Georgetown teen charged in November shooting

A Georgetown teen faces charges in connection with shooting at an area home in November.

Jedidiah Dorman, 18, turned himself in Dec. 1 after police had sought information on the person involved with a Nov. 19 shooting in the 22000 block of Lewes Georgetown Highway in Georgetown. Police said Dorman fired shots at the home; two adults were inside but no one was injured.

Dorman turned himself in at Troop 4, where he was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of first-degree reckless endangering, and criminal mischief under $1,000. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on a $15,000 unsecured bond.
